well after looking for a wile i finally found a bike that i wanted...picked her today and its a 01 cbr600f4i w/ 24000 miles on it and i got it for $3000....im so excited cant wait to go out on a good ride....it had to rain 2day so i just road it around the neighborhood...this is my first street bike but NOT my first bike i raced/road motocross since i was 7 and i have a 84 xr200 dual sport that i used to ride to the store and back....i also got helmet/jacket/gloves and insurance.i dont care to much about the color but i have plans to paint it in the near future but for the price it was a steal...i will take better pics this weekend and on the pic the puddle was from a bike next to it...

Re: my new toy

nice. I always liked how light and nimble smaller bikes, like 600cc are.

I like my 636 a lot, i wish it was faster though. I am looking at maybe a gsxr 750 or a 1000 cc bike. I want something that will pull the front wheel in first gear.

Re: my new toy

it all depends on how you throttle it, my 06 RR will barley pull it up in first gear on acceleration alone... a slight tug or blip of the throttle will yank that ------ right up tho

my 07 r6 pulls the front in 1st when I roll into it hard. just sit further back nignog :y

Re: my new toy

the 10-20lbs of speaker stuff i have in the front fairings probably isnt helping either. Maybe the 636 is kinda heavy. Im not sure why i cant pull it up on acceleration alone, if i rev to 7-9k, let the throttle go and hit it again, it usually comes up. i think im going to gear it. +1 or +2 rear

Re: my new toy

down one in front its cheaper. and equivalant to about +2-3 in the rear.
