Nope, it's not turbo. In fact, there's no engine on this ride, and it only has two wheels.

The Handlebars are just there to aid in moving it around. I'm fabbing some new ones this weekend and hope to have it rideable by Saturday.

Overall it's 12 feet long! Not much for handling, but it should turn a few heads. My roomate's isn't far behind so we'll have a small crew as we build more of these. It's not done, there will be few more braces, custom plasma cut gussets and cooler wheels with a custom laser cut 8" front disc brake. It should look pretty sweet painted with some huge apehangers and a custom seat built in...

Let me know what you think. This is my first one and I'm going to refine my style this summer as I build a few more...

No need, the handlebars will stretch way back so I'll be sitting up straight while riding. The bottom bracket is in the perfect position for me (6' 1") to pedal comfortably. I used to sell bikes, so I'm no dumbshit on what's required to make the bike fit someone. I'll post a pic of me on it when I finish, then you'll see...

Haha thats awesome. Pretty wild stuff man, creative as hell. So this is going to actually be a pedal bike at some point too huh? SIngle speed or are you going to need a few gears to get that thing moving?

Yeah, this will be a pedal bike. It will be a single speed, single brake. It'll have just a semi-low gear. No need to get a lot of speed on this thing, just get going and cruise.

The front wheel is just to give an idea, but it will be a custom 24" with skinny old school style tire.

My has more progress and will be done this weekend, but my roomates is up and running, no brakes, but it's pretty sweet.

He's 6' 3" for size reference. It's about 11" 6' long.

That one actually broke, something about too much pressure on a conduit fork. These are all steel though. Some trash robber came by, saw the broken one, and left a note on our door saying he really wants the bike.

my older brother is working on a chopper bike using my welder, hopefully he finishes before my head flange gets here because I want to be cruising my turbo civic already.

one of those would be awesome on campus, I'd get all the bitches, or run them over since your roomate has no brakes.

Sweet ----! I was gonna put together an old frame I had in my garage from my kid. I have an old Elf frame and some other parts and she's like... "ahhh I'll keep my barbie bike. Thanks anyway." The nerve of some kids. Why didn't you just stick with the same tubing all around? Either way nice work and your buddy's bike look like a chopper and a recumbant bike that had sex and that was the offspring of it. :P

------- right on man, that thing is sick, I've made a few lowrider bikes for transportation to the booze store. Those things are geared so low I'd have a beer or two thrown back by the time I got home. Good work man!

I just started bending and going from there. I didn't really have a plan during the build. I just bent, welded, envisioned, repeat.

It's cooler in person. Our buddy with a plasma cutter is cutting some flame gussets for the front of his frame, it should be cool when it's done.

Thanks man, this summer I plan to build another chopper with a sidecar for the liquor store runs. Luckily it is only a few blocks away. Just go through the all-girls school and your there.
