About 90 mph is the fastest I've gone, but I don't really plan on maxing it out either, I have a wife and a son to think about, I have to be responsible with it. Thanks for the compliments.

My last bike was a 2000 GSXR 750 and it was alot of fun (RIP Aug '03). I wouldnt have recommended one for a 1st bike but its too late now.
Take a riding class if youve never ridden before and wear some damn gear. I live in FL and never left home without my helmet, jacket, and gloves (joe Rocket makes a great summer jacket).
Be as careful as you can, dont lane split and dont do stupid ---- when cars are around. People will NOT notice you its a fact, i've had plenty of people try and merge into me or turn in front of me.
If you get bitten by the "stunt" bug then ALWAYS take a friend and do it where there is no one around (so when you fall a car doesnt run you over).

Have a great time. There is nothing like riding, nothing at all.

Im jealous I love bikes. I want a 2004 r6 so bad. It is easily the best bike ever produced. But you gotta turbo that bitch and paint it the same color as your car

dont forget that when ur doing 150 either! Like T said, get some gear man. The bike is only part of riding. Get a good helmet and a good jacket/gloves at least...be ready for when u do go down.

OK, guys, heres the scoop that Steve was referring to. I bought it without telling my wife. She was away for the weekend and the oppurtunity arose to get the bike, so I jumped at it. She freaked the ---- out and now I'm in the dog house, it sucks, but oh well, she'll get over it. I admit that it was a fucked up thing to do, but we all make mistakes right?

Thanks for all the compliments and even though I'm really digging the custom paint job, I'm thinking about having it repainted black and orange, but with more orange. An all black bike just screams "I'M INVISIBLE!!!" I want something a little brighter so that I can more noticeable out there to the other drivers.

******!!!! i want a bike soooooooooo bad!!! i'm only 17 (18 on June 5th ) i just want a CBR600... thats fast enough for me... haha, good find and don't die!!!! i know if i had one i'd probably kill myself on it sooner or later. the fact is, is that if your a safe driver when driving a car.. its totally different when your on a bike and can go much much faster... be carefull.
