Default My new hoopty!

I just put a deposit down on it last week. Should be starting the 11hr treck to go pick it up tomorrow night! It's an 89 Colt GT. Comes with the 4g61t(1.6L), which is basically the baby brother of the 4g63(2.0L). It doesn't run right now, so I'll have to troubleshoot that. But for $675, I can't complain too much. It's bone stock! The plans for it are to basically just throw on whatever left over dsm stuff I have laying around. Just be a fun little junker to scoot around in.

I think you're wrong.

And about the manifold. Thanks, but I have enough ---- laying around my house that I can already use.

Nice. an ex g.f of mine had one of those. Back then I didnt know ---- about turbo cars so when the turbo went out she just had the mechanic take the turbo off . It ran but was useless.

75hp? Do you have any clue what you're talking about?

They come boosted, non-intercooled with a tiny 11b turbo. Rated 135hp from the factory, but my friend put down 123 to the wheels on a Dyno Dynamics in his. Cast Iron blocks, just a mini-me version of the 4g63. Should be fairly easy to make some power with it, as long as I can get it running, and as long as ---- doesn't break, which I'm sure ---- will!

I can throw pretty much all my old DSM ---- into it, and it's an upgrade for it. Shouldn't be too hard at all to get this thing to make some more power with the crap laying around my garage.
