that stock airfilter box is what makes the engine bay look busy, can easily be replaced with a pipe and a cone filter.

FPIK by K&N is a good filter. its the filter and adaptor to mate to your MAS. it runs 100.00 or so (pricey).

also, 1g autos came with smaller (than 450) injectors, 13g turbo.
i know first hand.

your best bet for 13second passes (easy) are a 14b ported to hell, supporting mods (3" turbo back). all aftermarket piping. AFC, etc.

also not on a 6bolt:
get forged rods and pistons, stock head and intake manifold. run a big 16g, supporting mods (3" turbo back, piping, etc), a johnnyrace car or bigger intercooler, and a 55shot and you hit mid 11s (friend is running 11.70's with the above mods, minus a FMIC, he has supra side mount). i have video to prove this as well.
