Goddamn, you're a bright kid, rawr, but you lack a lot of perspective.

The body roll on mk3's isn't as bad as everyone bitches about. It's more hype than anything. mk1's on stock suspensions are much worse, and mk2's on stock suspensions are not much diffrent. I'm talking about cars with new stock suspensions, not 20 year old blown shocks and old bushings.

rawr, I founded broke dick motorsports, so no excuses. I cut down and rewelded a free DA rear swaybar, and modified the brackets to fit in the rear towhooks, because $200-something for a gay *** rear swaybar kit was not happening anytime soon. I repeat, you're a bright guy, just put some action and daydreaming behind the cold hard logic and it'll be like whoa.
And, even if the body roll isn't hype, body roll isn't exactly bad. I was just running my mouth. Suspension travel to allow the correct contact patch makes for really really good low and medium speed handling. The super stiff suspension and rubber band tires just gets you some cosmetic high speed gains, and the boyracer feel.
Given the pictures of your wife, I'm not surprised she wants a VW.
