my HMT vacume log...

*this should probably go into the hybrid section, so if you want it there mods, just move it. i dont care...

(I am getting PM's on this so I decided to post it)

anyways, i started this HM ITB set-up for my D16. I bought everything, had it all going good, then I needed alot of vacume sources. So I decided to make my own log. I found a peice of scrap square stock, and cut it to length. only about 4". then I sealed it off, by welding the ends. then, I started looking around, hummm what the hell can I use to slide into vacume line nicely. so I went to the auto part store, started searching. (the guys were like, "what are you riggin' now" when I walked in there) <-sad but true, LOL
anyways, i started searching, BINGO! fuel line! so I bought a 18" section and started hacking away. then I drilled into the log, and put them in there. they fit tightly, and i knew I couldnt weld it, so JB WELD! yeah! so I started to JB weld, and I thought, what the hell. I will just JB weld all the places that need to be sealed. so I did.

now for the other end, the part that plugs into the brake booster, I just stacked the male ends of the fuel line together, and sealed it with JB weld. heres how things look...

I was gonna sand it all down and ----, but I thought, what the hell. lets leave it ghetto.

so what happend to it. its sold. nonvtec has it. (I think)

did it work. yes. very well. I didnt use it, but we put it on my buddies car, and it worked very well.

function over form bitches!

now you kids can use this for all your vacume needs.

how much did it cost me? probably about $3.00 USD <-dam canadians.
