My hatch painted
Got my 93 eg civic hatch repainted and all the rust cut out and new metal put in. Heres the pics my autobody guy took and some after pics.
Rear fenders had been 'fixed' previously without cutting out the rust, just welding new metal over it and using a ton of bondo [img width=640 height=480]http://img460.imageshack.us/img460/5628/rcbh01s5cy.jpg[/img] The bondo was a quarter inch think in some places [img width=640 height=480]http://img351.imageshack.us/img351/3122/rcbh02s5bl.jpg[/img] Rust all the way down to the side skirts. I got 2000 SIR sides modified to fit. Welded on the underside and behind the bumper and some kind of epoxy attaching it to the fender. No bondo used. The car has about 290 km's so many dings etc on the body were fixed. Also I picked up some spoor replica's as my car is a dx so it had no passenger mirror. I cut off about two inches so they would fit and did all the drilling for that clips. Then melted the end plastic peice so it would be closed at the front by the front wheel wells. Got the lip used, it was a nasty sparkle purple colour. Cut out all the webbing on the front bumper for a nice open look and maybe for future intercooler. Back windows removed to avoid paint peeling in the future. The car had been painted one or two times before, and each time the pain was not sanded down much. Not too clean as I drive on a dirt road for 1 km everyday and its a pain to keep clean, especially when its wet out. Fog lights are from my old gsr integra that go crashed up. I cut apart the housing because it was broken and managed to get the projectors out.After a little grinding and some clear silicone to seal them, this is what I had. Just have to make them yellow.

the outcome is awesome. good job man, i kno a trick to makin ur fogs light up yellow if u wanna kno PM me. it's very simple n ill give you detailed instructions. other then those ur car looks really nice, could be lowered a bit more but thats up to you.

next thing you should do is drop that thing... everything looks good but the fogs... don't realy dig 'em. and it be better if your front bumper cover wan't cut up, unless you're about to shove an intercooler in there

you should mount the fogs in the open holes on the outer parts of the bumper, thats where there at on the jdm eg

I don't care for Hondas much, but that is damn nice. I wish more people were into that style around here. The body work turned out well, from what I can tell.

you spent 2x as much fixing that thing then it was worth.. what was the price of that fix job, closer to 2 grand im guessing.
