Default My frist bike

Ok I am planing on buy my first bike in about a month or two. I can't make up my mind right know. It is a toss up between the 2008 Cbr 1000rr or the GSXR 1000. I just wanted to know what you guys thoughts where on these two bikes, or what you have or had have and liked.

Good thing you said " My frist bike " anyways. Gixxer has a special place in my heart. My friend mark's brother is buying one and I am going to outfit him with a helmet cam. He has no intention of getting plates/insurance/anything. lol. Police beware.

yea a 1000 is too big for a first bike. i was going to get a newer bike (r6) but i decided against it because knowing how i ride my dirtbikes, i will drop it. so i got my dads old ninja 750. i really wanted something fuel injected but this bike will keep me worry free about dropping it. and i can rape the ---- out of it without worrying about it. I didnt want a loan on something i would tear up anyways.

I've always wanted a street bike. I've ridden dirtbikes before and loved every second of it. I know too many people who have died and heard of so many people who have died from a street bike. I've never gotten one because I drive like an ------- and would probably kill myself on one. If you get a bike get good gear to wear too...
