I got the car for 1500 but traded him the car for a built b16
The car seems to complicated for me to work on...
and he had a plan for it

i dont think that manifold has enough bolts holding it on, better add some :l

and last time i checked its bad to have your cylinders visibly crosshatched after breaking it in :1, i mean not that much. did he run synthetic from the start, good luck with the blowby :l

damn i would love to have a bmw with all the money i have spent on my hatch with all the diff motor swaps and turbo ---- i could have paid cash for one..

My best friend turbo'd his m42 e36 a year or two ago... it was a little complicated but came out dece until he blew a hole in a piston and bent some valves a week ago.

forgot to mention.... He's also disassembling and selling everything from the car so he can buy an M3, including the whole kit so if you're in need of any parts or info on anything PM me and we can work out some deals
