Just paint the block black. if you cant see an oil leak, there are none. haha.

if you sandblasted your block, you better cleant he ---- out of the oil passages GOOD. if you start that motor with abrasive in the oil passages, goodbye bearings.

when u spend $$$$$ to build a high boost engine I think it is a little bit better to keep an eye on oil leaks. Thats the diff between a nice engine and a POS engine

ya I will, but for the first time in my driving life im taking my time, my car wont be done till the spring and then its going to jk motersports for a week to be tuned, I figure I will just leave the car with him and get josh to tune me like a black man at a clann meeting.

Re: My free sand blasting

im sure you did but you need to concentrate specifically on the oil passages. if there is any oil residue in them, which your not cleaning out with justa powerwasher then the sand will embed in it. take a couple cans of brake clean and an air hose and go to town on all the little holes/passages. trust me on this ive done alots of sandblasting/powdercoating and that ---- hides even when you think its clean enough its not.
