i did this writeup about a year ago and accually just did 2 birds last weekend for my neighbors.

BTW, beer can chicken is for the grill, not for the oven. 2 totally different tastes. ;)
It can be done both ways. Maybe when it is warmer outside, I will try the grill one. The oven variety is just for those who don't want to freeze their ass off outside.

Cray,the beer makes it really moist and you don't have to ---- with it at all while it cooks. But I understand if you like your chicken all dried up.... just like your women.
