My first SCCA run today.
HOLY ---- was that fun! haven't had my car over 5500 rpms that much in a LONG time. it was great. i really sucked at the 180 turn, but i kicked ass on the slalom. i entered my car in Street Prep C, which is a pretty fast class, but i got my ass handed to me since none of my mods on on yet. i was able to keep up with some of the new guys that did have mods (so that gives me a bit of hope). as soon as i get a new fuel-map chip for my ecu, and get my tablet PC hooked up, i'm going to record my runs and i'll post them. btw, anyone have any luck/experience with those Mugen/Spoon ecu chips on ebay? i got my socket installed, but i broke a leg off my stock chip in the process, so i need a new chip. tia, and keep your eyes open for my vids in the next month.

*hands shortyz his poop back, and cleans off his ecu*
ok, i HAVE to get a new chip soon. i've got a 89 crx si, with a 90 ecu. it's socketed, and got my ecu control adapter coming this week. and i want to get it running. seriously, anyone have an idea where i can get a decent fuel map? |
Re:My first SCCA run today.
try a 89-91 teg ecu more agressive fuel curves...might have to advance the timing a little to get the extra gas to burn though..at least thats what I used for my zc swap

Re:My first SCCA run today.
yeah, for a d16a6 its considered an upgrade to get a integra ecu.
