My first LS swap, I have some questions for people who did this before.

Ok, today I was in a ------- barn all day taking out a B18A1 out of a 93 teg, the engine runs great and has a new clutch, I got the whole swap(engine, Tranny, axles) for cheap, Now my first question is, since this will be going in to a 93 EG civic, will I need the integra hubs? my other question is, my civic has a hydro clutch, the integra is cable, can I just take the cable assembly and mount it to my existing clutch pedal in my civic? this will make my life alot easier, thanks for any help guys and i'll be sure to have more questions as I run in to more problems.

oh and will my OBD1 p06 ecu work with the teg motor?

hubs are the same but the clutch pedal thing is not possible ewithout the hasport conversion

What if I just use the integra clutch assembly?

im not sure about the clutch, but that ECU i'm not sure if it would work. im thinkin it will, since they're both OBD1, and I have a 95 P72 in my 93 Si. but i have a feeling somethin in the cabin wont match up.

get a GSR or B16 tranny, they're better anyway

make sure the shift linkage fits as well. it may need some modification.

YEah, I took the shift linkage off the integra just in case, some people said I will need integra hubs, but I dont know if that is true or not.

get a gsr transmission- its butter on an ls motor.

use axles from any 94+ teg or civic si dohc, and you dont need any integra hubs.

you'll want to use an obd1 pr4 or p75 ecu.

also, use the integra linkage

You should be able to use the computer in the teg since it's a 93. Also, i'm not sure but you might have to take out some dust shields on the inside of the hubs. I know you have to do this on the 4G civics. As for the clutch cable and pedal assebly, the integra pedals are one unit (gas, brakes, and clutch) and the eg civics have two different assemblies, gas and brakes and clutch. So i'm pretty sure they won't be able to bolt up.

im sure the ecu in the integra is obd1. you do NOT need the integra hubs. what you do need is shift linkage and axles from a 94+ integra. axles without abs yO! 8)
