Re: my first impressions on the 6 puck Clutch Specialties...CALLING ALL USERS!!
I wonder if I'll need a 6 puck with just a b16 and an SC61 killer on 9-10 psi.
Right now I have an ACT HD pressure plate and street disc. it's only rated to like 225 flywheel torque i think.
I let my mom drive my car sometimes and I'm not sure I trust her driving a 6 puck clutch...I also have to do a lot of parallel parking on very steep hills. Somtimes that's a bit tricky even as it is now.....with no P/S also

I have a 4 puck sprung from capclutch.com
it either bites hard or slips like a mfucker.
If I rev too high on the launch it just won't grip. Also if I shift gears too fast it slips. It poses a problem because using a clutch switch
and cutting the spark I'm able to shift very quickly at full throttle.
Now Im starting to want to make a twin disc clutch.

I'm getting more and more used to it. Dont get me wrong, I love the combination of the light flywheel and 6 puck, but its tough to get used to at first. I'll prolly have it down in a week.
I think that ACT PP and organic disc would hold on your b16->SC61 @10psi. But I would look into a stronger PP fo sho.
If your GF can drive the 6 puck, she must have a dick :P

you dumbasses let girls drive your cars? man the crack must be good in canada.
is there some significant factor in coolness when you add "killer" to the end of your type of turbo? I've seen people writing killer on the end of all sorts of turbo's these days...must be trendy.

gettin a little better at it. Only stalled out like 4 times today. Once on a hill of course. Chriped the tires about every other time that I didnt stall. Thing is grabby as hell.
On the bright side, it seems that I'm getting better gas mileage. What is the life expectancy of a 6 puck clutch? stockers are supposed to last damn near the life of the car (when driven normally of course).
