A buddy of mine was putting a turbo in his car about the same time I was last spring. He went to a guy here in spokane to install it, I went the HMT route. He talked ---- about me doing it myself and told me I would for sure blow my motor. He has blown his motor twice since then and many thousands later, decided to ditch the guy and go HMT. I on the other hand have gained a ton of knowlegde, proud as hell when i pop the hood and using the money i saved to build a stronger motor.

I say time to ditch the ****** and do it your self.

He may be a good builder but he won't last long. Hes only offering a service, something many other people can do. He may have a difference in opinion on parts he wan'ts to use but bashing a customer is a great way to end your buisness and ruin your rep.

Seriously, if you're on HMT, why do you have an engine builder?

i would tell him thats it's your money not his.....he's just putting ---- together.....honestly tho i would ditch him cause i cant stand someone like that just bashing everything you say...screw that!!!put it together yourself for 1) you'll gain knowledge about it 2)you'll save some money 3) you have all the info you need right here on HMT......but thats just my opinion....HMT LIVES FOREVER....

yeah, the hardest part is sizing the bearings, the little clips on valves can be a pain in the *** but there not hard to do as long as you use the grinding stuff on them and get them to seat straight. just take your time and if you get a feelign that your half assing somthing somewhere go over it a couple times to make sure its right.

Your builder only got one part right: ragging on you over SRPs. They aren't any stronger than OEM.

Wiseco, Crome, etc, is all good ----. KMS?? Now, I would have gone with RM, and you're stupid for not listening to me... :P
