My day at the track sucked.

I ran a 15.9 today, I am very dissapointed with my runs though, well not really, my first time to the track with this setup.

LS B18A1 in 93 EG sedan. 270,000 kilomiters on it, my first run was a 16.9, I was pissed, second run was a 16.3 after advancing the timing a bit, I did some ------- around and found a good spot on the track and ran a 15.9 my 4th time.

This track is in St Thomas ontario and if you ask anyone, its ----, they will all tell you that its ----, you cant really get any decent grip on that track.

Best slip was:
R/T .535
60' 2.2 (cant get grip worth ---- and my tires suck, plus the wheel hop is killing me)
1/8 10.0
1/4 15.9 (stock intake manifold is killing the top end, after 2nd gear the power just drops)
1/4 MPH 86.5

I need some traction bars, some good tires, new piston rings after today and I can probably knock that down to a low 15

Future plans are LS/VTEC With B16 USDM pistons 10.4:1 CR with direct port nitrous injection at 35 shot and good headers.

Decided against the turbo setup for now, going to boost off the bottle.

I need some major suspension upgrades as well, this car launches like a boat on water.

The 60ft is'nt that bad, the problem is you don't have enough power, get a turbo.

YEahthe power is defenetly lacking, probably due to the IM and the transmission, and it dosnt help if tha its a high milage engine with shitty compression.

Spenser, are you jelous that I can do my own swapwith the help of a buddy for under $500 including everyting with custom made engine mounts?
Are you also jelous that I have the brains to come up with a way to adapt my Hydro clutch pedal bracket to use a integra clutch pedal and convert to a cable using a custom made adapter on the firewall that I made by hand using a drill press, a grinfer and file?

---- YOU, you dont know half the ---- I did on this swap so go eat ---- faggot, I might of ran a 15.9 but your car still has nothing, go adjust your blue washer nozzle lights cocksucker.

that 15.9 times about right man doesnt sound like much driver error at all. it sucks when you put all of that time into a car and it still pulls some slow bullshit times like that.

oh well, they are only fast motors from the start, I'm sure with some slicks and staction bars I can get the 60' down to 1.X or in that area.

This will allow for at least a .5 sec faster time. I know in top end the car sucks but it is hard coming out of the hole when you have no traction

I tried many launches from a low 2000 RPM to a high 5000 RPM and had pretty much the same results at the end.
