My civic sounds like a WRX
I was driving home today and I was sitting at a light when my car started idling funny. I revved it up a bit and it sounded like the exhaust sounds on a WRX. I don't know what's causing it it's the first time this has ever happened. Anybody know what could be causing this? My a/f's and egts still looked normal while I drove it home.

Here's a vid of what it sounds like. My car is not smoking it's just really cold outside. It's not doing it as bad as it was before but something is definetly still wrong.

start with a compression test.
if by some miracle it passes, look into a bad injector possibly.

Thats alot of smoke. Like Jeffy said compression test.The usual ringland,headgasket or rod knock. There all totally awesome. The guess game is lame, compression leak down test is better than a 19 year old kid guessin from his parents computer room
