It would be cheaper to buy a house, demolish it and build a new one than it would be to buy an empty lot and build on it. They need to start doing that because some of these houses are retarded. 3 bed/1 bath houses with 1 car garages(if you're lucky)were pretty popular out here about 25 years ago.
Where are you at?

Around here for a lot in the city it's about 140k, i paid 30k for my lot. Same thing tho, a golf course/high end lot here is 250-300k

Yeah, realtors did an excellent job of hyping up the market out here. If you can see any part of the lake at any part of the lot they call it a lake view and add $25k to the price because it's just worth that much. It's sickening to think about how many people made MILLIONS buying lots for ~$2500-$5k years ago and held onto them to sell for $200k each. Nothing is selling now though. Chances are I'll be a meth dealer here in a few months if ---- doesn't change.

I dunno about that low, but you can probably get a condo for that cheap. WTF is a bungalow? :P You can get a decent condo here for $100k. You can get a really nice one for about $150k.

If you're curious:

There are currently 1742 listings in the 'RESIDENTIAL' database
Scary considering how small this town is.

----, we have tons of those, but nobody really wants them. Who the ---- wants to live in a 3bed house with only 1 bathroom? Most of those are on one street and don't sell for ---- because nobody wants to live in the house or on that street(beanerville).
