You don't need to take the engine out, you can leave it in and just take the tranny out. As for 45 minutes, thats a little ridiculous, but I guess maybe possible with a lift and if you do it every day or something. I ran into some extra problems because I took out all my engine mounts to fill them with urethane when I took the tranny out, and that was before I bought and engine hoist ($120 from pepboys, and its pretty beefy. I love buying new toys ) So I had extra alignment problems. I just thought with the amount of time it takes to unbolt the tranny and unplug everything and get the tranny off, you could just use that extra time to just pull the other axle and unclip the wire harness and radiator hoses and pull the whole engine out. With it out all the way you'd be able to do everything much more easily. I'd still like to get the aluminum bracket I broke so those of you who have an extra hit me up with a price. I also need a new bitchpin (the spring pin in the tranny end of the shift linkage). I could just go to the dealer but I'm uber cheap.

By the way, there is a shaking when I slip my clutch from a stop to get moving, is this normal for a 6puck clutch that only has about 200 miles on it?

Jesus, look for any clutch install write up. Disconnect all the ---- from the tranny, use your method of choice to get the axles out, then just drop the ******. Has nothing to do with taking the engine out. I do it with the srock jacks from my families 3 cars and 2 jack stands. Tools? 3 foot hollow steel pipe and a 20$ chinese auto set.

I've been told you can replace that with a nut/bolt, easier to come by and will come out easier next time.
