Re: My car on Dyno

yeah 160 hp to the CRANK not to the wheels. what do you have a 6% drivetrain power loss?? ::) and from the looks of it, it doesnt look like your dynoing crank hp

NO, but ok.. too the CTR EP3's friend of mine, got 200.0 WHP exactly! ....

160 "CV" . a question about values of power, how much WHP are in 200 HP for example?.

At least in Spain (i think generally in Europe) , cars come out with power to the wheels :). i did think that i would can to be to the crank too but no.

Re: My car on Dyno

200hp would yield roughly 170whp. Not quite sure about the ep style ctr. If they came with the same k20a as the ITR then it would put 220hp to the crank. roughly 187whp stock. depending on the power train loss %.

Re: My car on Dyno

it comes with K20A2 ..
i've a note about how to calculate power on the dyno (to the wheels) to the crank..for example..

if a car did makes a 250whp... power to the crank is ..

250 / 0.875 = power to the crank would be to 275 HP

i gonna to search about article of my car.. honda civic EG6 VTI. :y

Re: My car on Dyno

there is usually a 15% drive train loss. So take the whpx1.15 and pow theres estimated crank hp

Walter 06-10-2006 03:34 PM

Re: My car on Dyno

then mycar has about 184 HP to crank haha like EK9 but to the crank ;D.. B16AB from Civic Type-R Ek9 has 185 WHP. , not? :y

Not quite, increasing the WHP by 15% is not the same as decreasing the crank HP by 15%. Walter's formula is more ideal; the only difference is that equation assume 12.5% drivetrain loss.

;)..

here some dyno graphs about some guys from spain of your VTIs :y tested in other dyno :y.

http://img10.picsplace.to/11/charlie1111111.jpg vtec engage is normal in this graphic but my dyno graphic is more "linear" , he did makes 161CV ..

other guy did makes 163CV , a line is stock and the other line is with VAFC installed..

http://img10.picsplace.to/11/grafica...f111111111.jpg

in the end i will put my dyno graph!!!! :l
