well the clutch on the a/c compressor engages for about 20
seconds and the air comming out is cool but then it disengages. sometimes when i turn on the a/c i hear the clutch switch relay clicking on and off...click...click. then the compressor starts working with the clutch enagaged
for about 20 seconds then it stops working. wtf could this be? i put a jumper in the top 2 relay connections in the under hood fuse box and the clutch clicks on. i left the relay hooked up and went in the car and in no time there was a small cloud of refrigerant leaked outta the compressor or somewhere else. then i unhooked the jumper right away put in the relay and again, the compressor would click on and stay on for a few seconds then come off.
anybody know what could be the problem?

 

take it out. you dont need it.

sounds to me like its electrical because u say it turns off and on, mind u im not ac professional1

that's cause hogs are used to the heat. i just wanna know if this has happened to anyone here and they know what it is?

 

happened in my prelude, then i sold it. fixed everything.

 

get a gauge and check the pressure, if there isnt enough refrigirant in it there it will do that
