no i didn't get the rims back. yes i called the cops long ago and filed a report and they are in the process of determining whether or not it is worth the effort to go after the guy. the police usually won't put the effort in unless they are sure they can make an arrest. they don't have the manpower to look into everything- so the cases where they don't think they can get the guy they just don't bother investing any time into them.

my insurance also knows... if the cops go after the guy my insurance company buys me new wheels regardless and seeks restitution from the theif. they will sue him for the money they had to give to me.

as for tracking down the guy, i have someone i know that is a member of a "certain" motorcycle gang looking into it. this way it will be untraceable back to me. i still really don't know what i would do once i do find out where he lives. perhaps i'll have my friend pay him a visit.

If you don't want what happens to this guy to be traced back to you, you should probably stop saying how your gonna trash his car and get your angel friend involved.

I think this guy deserves whatever he gets but say he does get beatup really good and he calls the cops, then he's got a better case then you I would think.
