First off, julio sorry for your loss, but since the car is older you will prolly get it back just without wheels and some stock suspension.

you wouldnt see any broken glass unless they were just there to get your stereo in that case your car would still be there....

whole sequence: bend tab that sits outside window rail, put common screwdriver between window and seal at the corner, slide screwdriver back.. put fingers in window pull window so it flexes back towards you reach whole arm in to unlock. (5 to 9 seconds)
pull ignition cover (10 seconds), put pipe wrench over ignition lock, pull it til it snaps, unscrew white cap.. turn over and leave..

this is why back when i used to post more i used to always tell everyone to put in a hidden fuel kill switch. no gas, no going no wheres.

+1 asians are the quickest ------ car thieves in cali i been to the bay and seen one taken in less than 30 seconds... if you see someone with a pipe wrench next to your car they are about to steal it..

day 2 and nothing yet. I think i should drive around at night around the junkyard areas and look for my car. What ares are stolen cars mostly dumped at? Near the junk yard right? All i want backis my suspension. NOthing else! those things cost me 900 bucks.

you didnt know man, i've had 3 cars stolen from me, 2 completely stripped with nothing to salvage. and everytime i didnt have insurance... car theives out here can bypass your alarms, remove your car club, even those pedal locks....

thats why you have to be smarter than the crimnal, they may know little things but they dont know what true tuners know, that would be their own hidden security features such as (i personally do this to all of my cars)

1.) 2 way paging alarm w/ NO alarm led (that way they dont know its there therefore they dont try and defeat the system, and honestly i just want to let loose on them with my 9mm or .4O)
2.) kill switch to main fuel pump harness and/or ecu (make sure you use same amp switch) thats hidden away
3.) switch to Control Main Power harness of ignition switch. (these have to have very high amperage)

hope this helps when you get your car back. good luck and i hope they catch those punk ------ douchebags

White trash dudes in california drive lifted trucks not lowered 88 civic's

Well i retract my statement since its the total opposite here in fl.I'm mexican btw and we build lowriders here not fast cars i'm one of the few who actually messes with imports.Good luck julio get out of LA at least.

I'd say roll around some industrial parks and ---- cause that's also where they turn up also or underneath overpasses on highways.

I just spent 318.89 on miscelaneous parts for the other 4 door. I need to get it assembled ASAP.

timing belt, gaskets, OEM mouldings etc.

You shouldn't feel so safe man, I have had my 1st Civic stolen from the parking lot of MCC and my GSR was yanked from my driveway in Webster.

Its a little dated but I think that it still holds true.

I want to get the crime deterrent system I saw on ze internets once.... exhaust looked like a hotrodder's with pipes coming out the sides... when a thief tried breaking in, it spit out flames on them... Voila! Two birds with one stone, your car didnt get stolen and you have a weeks supply of dog food (just kidding)...
