A nice thing to buy is the golden eagle ls/vtec kit. Comes with everything that you need to put the Vtec head on eg. Dowels that are turned down on one end so you don't have to bore out the holes on the front of your block or back of your head because they locate on opposite sides from LS to DOHC Vtec.
Use the stock LS head gasket or you will see lots of oil leakage.

but i disagree on the GE kit. ive used it twice and i like it (obviously). i think those are the words of a cheap ***.

word yea everyone tells me my mom is hot...it doesnt bother me...good for her i guess....if a lsvtec doesnt make atleast 185 i dont even wanna bother with all that....thats not enough power for the money that would be spent...atleast i dont think so....my friend had one on 12.6:1 compression and i was only running 14.5s now that i think about it i dont know if thats even worth my time....his ---- was built too.....im lookin for like 200 to the wheels na....but i wanna know what other people have gotton out of them b4 i build a motor that sucks...im thinkin about buying my hatch back for 450 bucks and selling the motor, tranny(b16) , and interior to make that money back....how much should i sell my whole swap for if i do? oh and rear disk conversion i believe is still good...so ill sell that too
