my 323hb motor swap
 

so i motor swapped my daily driver. its nto turbo its jsut n/a but its all stock parts. which when i get teh bugs worked out will be a nice reliable car i hope. the car comes stock with a b6 = 1.6L sohc 88 crank hp. so i swapped it over to a bp = 1.8L dohc 130 crank hp. not a drastic change liek when i boosted my escort but still rips good enuf for daily use.

engine mods
- 1.8L dohc
- 95/96 stock 4-1 header
- g-series tranny
- jdm gtx stage1 clutch
- jdm gtx flywheel

clean and simple.

i still need to biuld or buy a better intake. along with work out some coolant issues. fan is not running like it should which is causing it to heat up.

omg. . . its not a 323 its a protege. dose anyone know anything other then hondas :7

anyways i used to have one of those, only mine came w/ the motor you swapped. why didnt you go w/ the 1.6 turbo ??

you put a Ford motor in a Mazda, thats gay ::)


i image he put the 1.8 in there insted of the 1.6t cuz the motor and tranny was like 200bucks at teh junkyard...

last time i looked they were going for like +600bux for the 1.6T. idk about the ls civic, but it can beat an ls integra any day. :6

IDK, but I did it and im loving N/A to be quite honest.
No intentions one bit on going back to boost any time soon. (although i am about to start ------ with the T-deisel in the Delica :P)
