My 1986 TURBOED honda accord!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well here is a vid i put together of my car last night and it has a couple races against this ones guys 00 civic si on nitrous from last night on it. I was actually breaking my clutch in since i only had it for 2 days but i couldnt resist racing on it alittle and i payed the consequences and i blew my third gear syncro pretty bad on the second race vs the si and i just gave up. It grinds going into third really bad. I was fighting it getting into gear all night. Im pretty pissed off about it since i just had the tranny out of it 3 days ago!!!!! So now im going to have to rip apart the tranny and rebuild it now.

BTW: my clutch specialties 6 puck from mike is awesome!!!! It grips so good!!!! You can see in the vid how bad the tires spin just going into second gear. It wont stop spinning in second unless i shift to third or left off the gas its insane!!! Now i need some drag radials lol.

For people that dont know how to use rapidshare just scroll down to the bottom and click free and then wait 34 seconds or whatever and it will let you down load it at the bottom of the page.

Sweet!!! Nice job. Good video too man really, night time, but yet not all dark and crappy. SSAuto manifold > you. Nice though. In the beginning when you spin for days what did you launch at then shift at? I can't tell. Nice HMT set-up dude!!! ;) ;D

Thanks for the good comments guys! Yea, its a ssautoshit manfiold but i wasnt about to hack up a nice manfiold to see if i could get it to fit lol. But seriously the ssauto manifold has been working really good for me and i have it hacked up pretty bad and havent had any sorts of Problems with it yet. Most of the runs were at about a 20mph roll. Launching in the vid was never over about 2 grand and me trying to get the clutch to slip alittle so it doesnt spin as bad. I was shifting at about 6500rpms.

Yea, the tires got good tread on them they just arnt good gripping tires at all. Hard to find good tires for 13 inch rims lol. The accords jdm b20a made 160hp 142ft pounds of torque stock and the preludes b20a5 made like 130hp stock. They are totally different motors but they get mistaken alot as the same.

Re: My 1986 TURBOED honda accord!!!!!!!!!!!!

don't shift so early, let it bounce off the limit or feather it a bit n hold first a lil longer so when u shift it doesnt bog then boost low n spin again. go out n do some practice launches. n get some better tires, u should activate FTL, it ------ helps a grip on street tires. good ---- adam, seem's a lot better since the meet.
