Re:Music

slipknot ,mudvayne ,any form of hardcore metal and love techno dj sammy ,rednex blah blah blah

SBC GMC 03-18-2003 05:59 PM

Re:Music

fieroguy, surely you didn't just call Mudvayne and Slipknot HARDCORE metal??? ::)

hehe... i'm pretty sure you didn't just say that... but just in case you did... (awww NEVERMIND!!!)

anyway... i guess right now i'm listening to 30 seconds to mars, NIN, MC 900ft. Jesus, Peach, Dead Kennedys, Collide, Children of an Anarchistic Dynasty (weird, not-that-good, but interesting) Black Flag, Pantera and Ten Foot Pole...

oh, and of course... TOOL. life without Tool would be life without food air and water.

lately I kinda stopped listening to my usual mix of KMFDM Melvins and Primus... i dunno why but it's just not envigorating anymore. I'd probably rather listen to Tori Amos or Gary Davis than them now. I guess I just overplayed the poor bastids.

fiero_god 03-18-2003 06:44 PM

Re:Music

lol i didn' call them anything i just said any hardcore metal. Of course there is always pantera ,nailbomb, cannibal corps ,six feet under but ethier way those are bad ass bands. If you never heard nailbomb sbc you need to check them out.

Re:Music

I'm just jammin Alan Jackson. ;)
I think the last time I was high enough to listen to rap it was Digable Planets,

SBC GMC 03-19-2003 10:32 PM

Re:Music

nailbomb, eh? sounds like one of those SK-clone bands like mushroom head or whatever they're called... eh... not really my style... i'll still look into them, though... right after i download a bunch of Tom Waits... i keep promising myself to download a shitload of Tom Waits but I keep putting it off...

well, anyway when i'm in the mood for some Hardcore I play "Pig Destroyer" they're pretty nuts. Highly reccomended. I think a Pig Destroyer CD would be a welcome compliment to ANY metalhead CD collection.

or if you're the MP3 kinda guy like me... download their song "White sand" it's 27 seconds long but gives you a good idea of what they're all about. also check out "sheetmetal girl" that one's a classic.

Re:Music

lol mushroom head sucks major ass. I heard there music and was depressed for like a week because it sucked so much ass. As for nailbomb there music is there own i haven't heard anyone like them , good luck finding them though they only made 2 cd's before commitng " commercial suicide" which happens to be the name of there last cd. They also never went to a studio cause they didn't want to hit it big they did it for the music. Thanks for the other bands though i will surely check them out. ;)

Re:Music

No, really guys. If you just give Kenny Chesney a chance you'll find that heavy metal isn't what its cracked up to be.

Ah, Kenny Chesney and Vicodin..........my escape

fiero_god 03-21-2003 07:05 PM

Re:Music

Re:Music

I like all kinds of music rock, alternative, punk, pop, rap, country, etc... I really like the music for the home page of this web site though. I just noticed it the other night when I was drunk and damn that banner was changing colors. I thought I was really messed up until I checked it out when I was sober. What song is that? sounds like x-files/shaft music.

HMT-Admin 03-23-2003 07:18 PM

Re:Music

lol, our Porn intro music, haha, My brother put that on their kinda as a joke, I was cracking up, its ok I guess..

Beau said the same thing, he was all drunk and heard the music and started looking at the banner and didnt know what was going on. heh

Re:Music

make fun of me all you want, but i love the get up kids, taking back sunday, the all american rejects, amd the starting line. punk is cool and emo will always kick ass. there is nothing like driving into the night with yer fav emo song blasting. its so depressing yet so uplifting at the same time. all of you have to download 'Konstentine' by Something Corperate. its like 10 mins long... make sure u dont get th live version, u dont get the whole experince with that version

Brett

Re:Music

i agree with the last dude, something corperate's constantine is an amazing song.......right now i'm into weird music, anyone ever heard of Nuetral Milk HOtel? really good stuff, download it or buy the cd, its awesome. RADIOHEAD rocks my world consistently also, as does any techno and a lot of rap, but their is nothing like blasting down the road listening to CCR or LedZepplin of the beatles, any old band is usually way kick ass.......there is a lot of good music out there right now too......too much to talk about.
