Which muffler to use flowmaster or dynomax
HI guys,
Just need to know which muffler you guys use.
Heard a lot of flowmaster and the Dynomax. Which one and which model do you guys think is the best. I need a quiet car.
Thx in advance
Peter

Yes i would like it quiet but good sounding. Heard the flowmaster 60 series is really good and so also the Dynomax turbo series. My exhaust piping is all 2" so i plan to take the 2" inlet and 2"outlet.
Any help from the masters here wiould be really great.

If you're planning on boosting, I wouldn't get any kind of chambered muffler (which is what all Flowmasters are). Dynomax Turbo mufflers are good for boost as well as any decent straight through design.
There are 2 different types of dynomax mufflers. i forget which one i had, but it sounded aweful. Definatly go with a straight flow design also. thats the only dynomax i heard i heard, and i hated it, but i do know they have 2 different kinds.
i have the dynamax tractor 3" straight through huge mother ****** sitting in my garage
sounds like ---- na
i dunno how it sounds turbo cuz i smashed my car before the turbo went on

im using a dynomax 2.5" inlet, dual 2.5" outlet chambered muffler with 2.5" piping, 2.5" resonator, 2.5" high flow cat. NA.
It sounds very very good. deep pitch without any of the cackle of potato cannons.
but if you're boosted, then you want a straight through muffler.

I think Borla Exhaust sounds the best and it is straight through too.
