haha, I know someone who lives there who at times I wish was injured in a natural dissaster much like this. I hope he survives though, my hmt experience wouldn't be the same without him.

Its up here in the NW, last time it erupted was in 1980 and it sprayed ash all over a good chunk of Washington, Oregon, and North Idaho.

It was like 3 months before I was born.

it swas 11days before i was born. i used to have little bottles of ash from it when i was growing up. if you go thru eastern washington in some areas you can still find it.

Yup its in the NW... The volcano blew the top of the mountain off. Pretty damn explosive when it went off in 1980. I dont remember, but it was equivalent to so many nuclear bombs or some ----. If you just take a look at some of the pictures you just all the freaken trees flattened out. Crazy!

it rated a 5.1 on whatever scale they use for eruptions back in 1980. the article says the one brewing is gonna be smaller by a ton. its kinda like waiting on a campfire style coffee pot, to start percolating.
