MSD?????

Hey, I have a 95 Civic D16Z6 running a T3/T04b tubo with 450's and a SAFCII. I was looking to get a MSD ignition but I wasnt sure what to get. I herd something about a 6AL but besides the main box what else would I need or should I get?

Or you could get both built into one.. MSD 6AL w/ BTM.. its the MSD 6BTM runs about 320.

msd boost timing master part # 5462??

Dont mean to take the post away but do you need something else to run the MSD Boost timing master? or can you just get that? to retard the ignition and not get anything to advance the spark? will just getting the boost timing master cause spark blow out?

I can see running the BTM if you're running the hack, but if you've running uberdata or the like there is really no point in upgrading the ignition. Honda did a pretty damn good job from the beginning.
In fact, I have a friend that just got back from the Hondata seminar and he said they discoure running anything but stock ignition.

I just have a bigger coil. It runs smoother and cleaner. Thats all you really need. With the box anyways after 3,000rpm it is just like stock ignition anyways. Thats when boost comes on. So who cares. Spend $30 for the cap and $50 for the coil and you are good to go. Remember this is hmt not NIRA
