I suppose that turbo kit is homemade, it's still not HMT.

How much have you put into boosting that car and how much HP/tq does it make?

Now you can cry.

It was removed. It turned into a pissing match because people felt that the turbo could be larger and the car could make more HP. I think it's the perfect balance of spool and power for me and because the car is mine, that should be all that matters. I got pissed off and left the forum. After some E-Mails explaining that this forum is very hostile and negative towards new members I decided to try again here. PS, those comments at the top of the tread are merely me being negative and hostile because I'm a new member.

There was no kit for this car when I started in late 2002. The Mazdaspeed Protege wasn't even out. It is 100% Homemade...

Money for actually boosting is not really that bad, it's the rest of the stuff, plus the rebuild... So I don't even know how much it is right now, but I feel sometimes I could have bought a Veyron by now..

It's actually a Haltech E8 with the display. I removed the stock ECU completely. Because of that, the stock Speedo, Tach, indicators, everything would not work. I have basically rewired the entire car myself.

welcome back.

Don't take anything personally this time. Everyone new gets ----. Usually it's reserved for those that don't know a GD thing and start out like they're putting in a homo ad in a homo classified section, and ask ridiculous turbo questions while they're at it. Someone once asked if they could turbo their NA engine.

Seriously.

No, that your turbo should be larger is a matter of fact. The pissing match was Spiker waving around his little piggy dick for the world to see, it has nothing to do with anything except Spiker posting in your thread.

Welcome to HMT, I liked your setup when I saw it in your first thread. Its good to see something different other than the Honda genre. I have learned a lot from HMT, just roll with the punches and dont take things personal. Being that anyone can join a forum, you gotta expect that you are gonna get some individuals who make an attempt at humor or try to act tough when they really shouldnt. Not all members are alike, some members will bend over backwards and really help you out, and some are genuine. Its kinda like a dysfunctional family where nobody is perfect. :P
