MP3 to M4P?

How the hell can I get MP3 files converted over to M4P. I'm trying to download songs for FREE on this iPod.
Anyone familiar with doing this? Or does anyone know where I can download M4P songs for free? I tried google searches but pretty much got nothing... Any help is much appreciated ^-^

iPods play MP3s fine. MP4 is a video format. What are you doing?

How did you transfer? You can't just drag and drop them, you need to use iTunes or another comparable program that is compatible with iPods.

Yeah I'm just going to have to let her (my niece) download songs. I don't have the software nor the time to do it.
Thanks anyways. You can lock this thread now.
