awesome choice from movin away from the crvtec... u should love the LS tranny. i never understood why everyone used b16 trannys on dailys. thats boring cuz u top out at like 105mph. LS tranny's keep going til like 150mph+. keep us posted on the project.

I totally agree, The b16's are fun for around town, But as soon as you get on a road doing 50mph you are allready at 4k+rpm and its not fun to run your nice crvtec at a high rpm all the time....

I will, I should have it finished by mid week, I love spending time on the car and taking pictures, I have hundreds and could post for days, but I try and keep it small, although that usually doesnt happen

Well if people want to see lots of "how-to's" and all of the stuff I do in my garage I'll be more than happy to post it up As far as the b16 tranny, it was a j1 and at 70mph I was at 4k rpm..... If you want to calculate any tranny's rpm in each gear/top speed check this out, its pretty much exact..... http://www.autocrossing.com/cgi-bin/gearcalc.cgi
