No insurance?? In case you haven't heard, it's "if you get in a wreck", it's "WHEN you get in a wreck". The same person that didn't see you and pushed you into a ditch, is the same person that isn't going to see you to come back and give you their insurance..

Don't skimp on medical

I couldn't find where it said no insurance....but I'm drunk. :P

I got a deal for you. I'll pay the insurance premiums as long as you list me as the beneficiary on a $250,000 policy. Deal?

You don't have any riding experience. This is not a good idea.

You won't save any money in the long run & you will get hurt.

I'm not against bikes...I've owned many of them. This is how I know.

If you are bent on doing this, buy a dirt bike first like Imadouche stated before.

This defeats the purpose of saving money, but it will save your ***.

Thats no steal at 3Gs
A mate picksed up a 02 R6 for 3Gs now that was a steal.

Listen to the others do you want to comute or do you want to get hurt.

I setled for an old naked GSXR1100 while up in UK cause I nearlly fell off my chair when I heard what they wanted insurance wise for one of those plastic boxes. Get an insurance quote before you buy the bike. Thats the best adv. I can give you.

If you're gonna go Yamaha, do yourself a favor and get an R1(1000cc)...that's PLENTY of bike for some1 your size but maybe a lil outta your price range UNLESS you can find a good used one....I personally like suzuki's and would recommend a GSXR750...u can get one for relatively cheap and with a few mods, they'll scream...U say u don't have experience on bikes though, sooooo I'd say don't worry so much about insurance for the bike and make sure you have a good LIFE insurance plan...seriously man, bikes aren't really dangerous, BUT the other commuters on the road don't pay nearly enough attention to what's going on around them...after SEVERAL instances where someone pulled out in front of OR INTO me, I got rid of mine...they're fun as hell, economical, and a fine honey's a$$ looks hella sweet pokin' off the back of one, BUT you WILL lay it down sometime(s) and that sucks, hurts, and scares the livin' $hit out of you...just my .02 cents....HAPPY RIDIN'!!

LOL...well cous, if things worked that way(or if you had a guarantee that things would work that way), you might could say that but things don't and won't work that way...I imagine you have a family who WOULD care if you died or got hurt really bad and lived....LET ME SAY THIS "I'M NOT TRYING TO PREACH".....I've given you my advice....and oh yeah, just so you know....it sounds like you're a fan of speed(as am I and everyone else on this board), well, wheelchairs will only go so fast, and it's not very fast at all...
