sucks about the car.. the paint looked nice.. but at least it is fixeable, and if you have insurance that covers it it might not turn out so bad.

but, as for the sensors, they place them in the corners of the vehicle. they are designed for certain speeds, based on impact. but where you hit was right where the sensor is, so, that is probably the main reason it went off.

the body kit was going to come off this summer anyways... I want OEM bumper with type R lip ... looks clean and sweet....

A little off topic, but funny as ---- when it happened. I was in the parking lot of PepBoys, and there was this Accord with a body kit driving throught the parking lot. He was driving through one isle and then decided to make a u turn, he was 90% percent complete, but he sucked at timing I guess and smacked the curb. I couldn't help but to bust out laughing. He kept driving like nothing happened and parked, I drove by him to see him inspecting his brand new bumper. Just made me laugh some more. If you haven't guess, yeah the whole kit was primered and the car was painted goldy brown with madd sicc graphics.
