The only VW's worth anything were made before 71. Ghia verts are badass, split window bugs are awesome, there are a few more "unique" VW's too that are cool.

didn't they engineer the dual clutch transmission that is being used in everything from the gtr to the evo werent they the first manufacture to make a twin charged car? didn't they introduce direct injection with turbos to increase emissions and mileage recently Weren't they the first manufacturer to sell a clean diesel in the USA that meet the new emissions standards?? While I agree that the 1.8t isn't that great (my gf wanted a passat and after researching the oil sludge problem I refused to buy her one) I still think that guy deserves props for being innovative. I think with some tweeks to his design (runners meeting in firing order, shorter runners, larger plenum, one tb) that design has potential. If someone did something like that on a honda here you guys would be screaming FRONT PAGE... Just sayin

well its not as retarded as the twin-throttle-body-sidewinder-no-plenum faggotry, in theory it would work better then its equivalent in aluminum because fiberglass wont heatsoak like aluminum but im sure its going on a slow ****** 110hp all motor car so it wont matter.
