I'm on a roll.
The pic's are made in my shed.

New Mig welder(Me and a friend of mine bought it togehter.

My downpipe..well a piece of it...you can see the difference of the mig weld(without gas on the left) and the arc weld (on the right) made by a amateur welder like me ;D

omg, those d's are so tiny and cute. i bought a mig about 3 mos. ago and still haven't used it once :-\ i need to get on it :P

Yeah those D's are tiny...I can put my head all the way down in my engine bay...lol

yeah..it was cleaned up a few weeks ago, but you know how it is when you're looking for something and busy welding in the shed ;)

i think the arc weld looks better, shouldn't have wasted your money on the mig, you could have bought a hooker ;D

yeah the camara is great....lol projekteg....the arc only made blobs and the occasional nice beads the mig makes nice beads

Nice welder Sem. I see many turbo projects coming from that. ;) It seems to run a nice, clean bead too.

good start, some points though to improve your weld.

watch the puddle more and the arc less. (i can see from how the bead is uneven that you were not watching the puddle when you should have been) wait for it to become fluid and only very slightly convex before proceeding, and remember, if it's too convex move slower, too concave & burning through, move faster) right now it looks like you need to slow down and maybe turn the heat up a bit.

It was my first Mig weld :) had to get used to it...I was moving to fast indeed...and it was kinda difficult to see the puddle with the mig welder couldn't see where I was welding at first, but I changed the lenses on the visor and that did the trick
