mopeds

do u need a special license for driving a scooter on the road>> i got a drivers license im just wondering about scooters/mopeds. Also how is insurance on them??

In WI, just a regular driver's license will do. Insurance is dirt cheap, I think I pay about $45 a year or so?

in florida it has to be uunder 50cc to drive without a license

Yep, that's the same with almost any state. Mine was 49cc when I bought it, but I put a bigger cylinder/piston among other things and now it's 65cc. Technically it's a motorcycle, but it's registered cheaply as a moped and I can park it anywhere on campus unlike a motorcycle

i wanna rock a moped.... any ideas on good cheap mopeds?? i dont care what year... i just want a lil ******* for round town..,.. my xr50 will take to much work to make it street legal..

i had one of those late 70s pedal start mopeds. i paid 50 bucks cause it had carb problems and thats all there worth anyways. it was fun as ----. i spray apinted the whole thing black with neon green wheels. the cops never even messed with me for driving it on the sidewalk and or road. well, one time at a local park i was chased by bike police.

best place to find them is on the back of peoples craped out RVs and old peoples garages/garage sales cheap
