Raffi, the radio advertising is a good idea, but feeding 500 for free isn't. I did a promotion a long time ago and called a radio station to see how much it costs to broadcast live and stuff and they said $1000. The only thing you have to think about is what station. Do you want gangsta kids (rap station), do you want 40 yr old hip people (80's station) do you want freaky ----------ers with crazy hair colors (rock station) or do you want stealthmode type white boys (country station).

I'd say pick one station, buy a weeks worth of commercials and end it off with a live broadcast for lunch after that week of commercials.

(Oh, and when you need some crafty/borderline commercials, I'll take care of it.) enserio fooooo!!

Feeding 500 people for free for a day is ok if they come back a few more times, or become regulars, or tell their friends/family about the mexican joint they ate at and how good it was. Word of mouth is good avertising. I know a few people who don't advertise ANYWHERE and they have more work than they know what to do with and people coming in saying "My friend Billy bob told me about you and blah blah blah...".

Feeding 500 would probably work the way it is intended to, but I just view it as unneccessary and it may even come off as desperate. All the different ways to market something is really what is interesting to me. To make a plan and have it work through a "marketing plan" is very gratifying.

I think it's time for another give away.

I hope the best for you and your bro man.

Being a manager at a small local hardware store is hard, but we've been rated the best in Minneapolis. There's a Menards and Homedepot and ----, but there's a few things that keep us alive.

One is that we're convenient. Quick in and out service. Second is helping people, and since it's a returant, neither of these will really help you at all. But the thing that has helped out a lot is getting to know your customers. If you know them by name, and you make that extra commitment, there's no way you can not make it.

Oh yeah, and have like a 2-1 deal on like a tuesday night. If I lived in AZ, I'd rock it.
