Its not my car dickholes. I'd never buy an IS300 and try and make it sooper fast, besides that fact it looks like and is a girl car. V8's over anything anyday. I just want to make it a little quicker for passing power on the freeway, and incase we see another IS300 to smoke.

Putting a CAI on it will cause it to lean out because of the stock MAF specs in the ecu, exhaust with anything besides the stock cat will cause it to throw code.

You can pull the battery and "reset" the ecu with the MAF settings the car had experienced, as well as drive it hard for a period of time then pull the batter/fuse right after. The car "remembers" how it was revved/shifted at and will adjust timing accordingly, also compensating fuel.

Eventually it "remembers" it's outside stock settings and will give a lean condition again.

Happened on my friend's IS300 before he went with turblow.

I've always loved the IS300. They're not the fastest cars in the world, but they're pimp IMO. No need to be the fastest car on the road when you're cruising in your heated leather seats with the moon roof open listening to (insert your favorite music). The ricer in me wants a yellow one.
