I have seen that done a couple times. A kid I know has an old DSM seat. He bolted a wood base to the office chair base, and then flattened out the rails or something to bolt it to the wood.

Re: modified my computer chair

this is the most comfortable computer chair i have ever had.....the base of my computer chair has a square surface to it so i drilled some holes in the seat and used nuts and bolts to hold them toghter

Thats deffinetaly a good job on the chair. ive seen the ones they try and sell in super street for like 400 with only an off brand racing seat and a cheap swiveling wheels.

Albert (--------) made one ages ago. SO damn study his big behind can recline it all the way back and leend back and that ---- don't lean over. I think he used a Civic/CRX Si seat.

I made my computer chair out of a Durango leather seat, and a 2 dollar office chair from the goodwill

Re: modified my computer chair

i had one about 3 years ago made of a Merkur Xr4ti leather bucket. not many chairs are reclineable, lumbar support adjst, side support adjst, and height. one of my bigger friends sat in it and broke the mounts on my cheap goodwill bottom part. car bucket seat office chairs are sweet! jsut most lack the armrests.

make the seat belt work, or better yet a racing harness. that'd be pimp. Then strap on a crash helmet and have a buddy roll you down the stairs or something.
