Jesus, I've never fucked up a modem. I didn't even think that was possible? What kind of modem is it? I've used Motorola surfboards and I think the one I have now is a "Zap!" or some ----. No problems.

I used to do that, I pretty much quit/got fired for fixing peoples accounts. Apparently they just want you to lie and sell people things, they don't care about what you do or who you help. you can fraudlently add lines to peoples accounts and send them phones and never get in trouble, but if you stay on the line with a customer helping them they bitch, and if you transfer to the correct department without just giving the number to the customer and saying you cant transfer, they also bitch because hte way the call centers make money from sprint are off of their average handle time, low transfer rates(keeps sprints costs down if they think we handled the problem) and sell ---- to get commission. They even train people in the stores to lie so people ---- them selfs over with text messaging/picture messaging/vision package/ whatever. I've even noticed that they would seemingly intentionally make errors on the bills of people who paid on time so they would have to call the call center so we could try to sell them ---- while we credit some stupid 5 dollar insurance charge. I never saw an error on a bill like that from the people who didn't have any "maxamize" offers ready. Also, the people you're talking to are usualy crackheads they pulled fresh off the street, throw into 4 week training programs and send them on the floor hoping they last more than 2 weeks. most don't because you have to have no soul what so ever to work at that ------- job.

Complete shitbag company.

yeah..i agree..the last guy i talked to on the phone didnt know a damn thing..i tried to explain that I had ran my own CAT5 line right from their junction box outside to my modem..NO phone jack, just wire and $.20 cent connectors from radio shack..He just couldnt comprehend that..and he was a SERVICE TECH...everytime i call, i tell them whats wrong..either the modem or the junction box outside...haha..they get so PISSED when you tell them whats fucked up with their ----..
