no i was going to have the end tanks redone straight but i changed my mind. all i had to do was trim up the sides of the radiator support.

but last night i realized something. i put my radiator in to see if it would even clear. the left side cleared but the right side didnt clear but only by like 1/4 to 1/2 an inch because the ------- tubing is oblong (oval). 2 things i can do but havent decided yet. either get the end cut off and have a round piece welded on and be able to use a full radiator, or get a 92-00 half.

input??

Keep your fullsize rad

100%

Re: mocked up the i/c today

I'd recommend doing what you can to keep the full sized, but then again, having the half sized makes it easier to clear the manifold/turbo/DP/Dumptube setup.

??I guess ur IC is that black thing sittin' on top of the 5 gallon bucket?? If ur goin' for the sleeper look, I'd say ur doin' a good job, 'cause I can't tell that you did a f@ckin' thing to the front of ur car....

Re: mocked up the i/c today

get a half size there $50 and cool twice as good

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1992-...23220223QQrdZ1

using the half size makes everything easier. with the intercooler, then when it comes to mounting the turbo and mani, its to tight of a squeez for everything to fit in there so i say half size ftw

Re: mocked up the i/c today

oh yea i forgot to add dont be one of those people who drives around with a intercooler mounted for a year befor he ever gets his turbo kit on

You can't be that dumb... can you? :l I imagine with the front end shot your monitor is just too dark, but you can't even tell its an intercooler on the bucket?

what am i gonna have to do to get the half size to fit??

Re: mocked up the i/c today

In the EF chassis it kinda sucks. You have to either rock it on gangsta lean, modify the lower radiator support, chop the inner lining of the hood, or a combination of all 3 to get it to fit, but once its in there you'll be surprised the amount of space thats opened up.
Here's how I had mine in on my old EF:

The OEM 92-00 radiators are not as thick, and also a little taller than the ebay units, you should have an easier time getting it to fit.

If you go eBay style make sure you check the thickness. I got one that was only 2/3 the thickness of the last eBay one I bought. Same price, same seller as a year ago, but shittier product.
