Well, some of you guys remember about 2 years back, we were supposed to have a Street SOHC shootout to see who built the ultimate budget street honda with a D-series SOHC engine. We had a track date set at Cedar falls and everything but nothing was ever set in stone. I would like to see who will be interested in maybe giving this another go. I'm hopefully going to set everything for mid summer, talk to the local tracks and collect the entry fees in advance so there will be some sort of commitment?

Who's game? I will unveil rules again if there is enough interest. Every year, I plan something like this with a lot of interest but nobody committed. There were only 2 confirmed teams up and running at the time and I couldn't justify the event with only 2 contenders. So hopefully this will be the magical year for something to happen to sleepy little MN where nothing exciting happens anymore in our segment of the motorsport scene.
