holden came out with VCT (very crap timing)
in 1988 when they launched their all new VN commodore.
they went from the utterly crap Nissan RB30E motor to the buick 3.8 V6
appart from the fantastic vibration, the V6 workhorse pumped out a whopping 125kw.
i still see these regularly with 19" rims and 10" tacho with shift light as 90% of them made were automatic. it all makes perfect sense really
