Okay long story short... drove home perfectly fine... went to go back out and the car sounds like its missfiring or something is fucked up in it... it shakes the whole car and when i put my hand up to the exhaust it was like a sucktion and.... would a missfire cause that help me .. spark plugs all looked the same... no blown HG (took off valve cover) also when i rev it up it gets worse... of course since its going up in RPMS... HELP

 

you check the timing belt? might have jumped a tooth.

 

not so sure thats it... my civic was running on 1 tooth off and it was running perfect

 

sounds like a fucked up ignition problem

 

but wouldn't that have symptoms before hand i mean perfect then 10 mins later its fucked

 

my dizzy literally imploded in my Civic once, caused crazy *** loss of power and made horrible noises. I guess it was the bearings inside the distributor that turned into schrapnel. If this is the case your distributor rotor will wobble instead of rotate and your engine will sound like it wants to have a heart attack.

 

OKAY! i think i found the problem, woohoo i'm so ------- excited.. the timing belt is cracking all over and i can slide it off with ease................ what all could that of caused? bent valves? anything else...

also what makes me feel kinda better is the same thing happened with my friends 90-93 accord and his skipped so bad that the car wouldn't start at all.. and when it did the throttle was all the way open and it would barely run at all and was smoking everywhere... but anyways.. please help me out and tell me what all could go wrong?

 

did the belt slip then? maybe it's time for your B-series swap, you should grab the full swap James has, and then I'll buy your zc tranny and some other stuff to help fund it...

 

nono, this is on my accord... the timing belt couldn't of slipped more than 1 tooth cuz it was firing up perfectly.. but it just ran hard... my friends that skipped 3 teeth it barely started
