mini me, or not
okay guys here's the deal i'm having my second child within weeks, purchased a Volkswagon Passat Turbo for my wife, got back my 96 coupe DX from her. it's runin' like trash have 1,000 dollars in cash, about 300. of it has to go towards a baby crib. that leaves me with 700. the Y8 head is gonna cost me 300. it's coming with wire harness, and I'm gonna try to sneek the knock sensor off the Y8 block as part of the deal. the P2E ecu is gonna run 100. my goal is to try to stay away from hacking wires. because i'm not good at that part, and my timing belt is fairly new, so all i have to purchase is a headgasket, but can i use the Y7 timing belt?? and going this route will this save me from the wire drama?? meaning plug and play....

Re: mini me, or not
SOHC VTEC is very overrated.
Just slap a Delta regrind into the Y7 and call it a day. |
