since youve been in the service longer you must be smarter than me, you must not only know
"my problems" but have the resolutions as well.

so go back to post whoring about being in japan
and keep your high and mighty *** out of my thread.

i can vouch for the lie for the pay thing. some recruiter came to my highschool when i was a SR and gave us flyers that said we would make 2100 a month if we joined right off the bat., no bullshit. unless the airforce is diffrent?

No, the air force isn't any different. It's the same place that teaches you "core values" like Integrity first, which is a good thing, but then at tech school you have the blacks starting riots on base on the weekends, and airmen in the park smoking dope.
That's when reality set in.

Even with the NA skyline and that peice of ---- Levin I have. The military is what got me here, the military is something Ive learned to take to heart. Im very serious when it comes to the military. Its my life. Im just tryin to help you out. Yep, i also talk ---- about bein here...you can join the other ***** who like to talk ---- to me. theres one thing though. I know what im talkin about when i tell you what ive told you, but i'll stay out of your thread. ohh yeah....and ---- you.

im still out on whether or not im going to try and get out.
im goign to medical because my knees gettign checked/fixed and im going to talk to my LPO about this ----.
ive held off on that because i have a very very good standing with my LPO and LCPO and I didnt want that effected but, yea, i think the situation might call for it.
how would this effect "your standing", exactly? Your honesty alone and the fact that you're not even sure if you want to get out should carry weight w/ them as well. and also...

yea...........its not an easy thing. I had ZERO financial issues before i joined, i had bills but they always got paid. And yea i asked numerous times about the pay, i had the cheif and an e-4 both show me thepay scales and the akkiwances id be getting.

to ------ bad im not getting two of those allowances and the third was 1k instead of1.7 like it was supposed to be.

I have bills, the same ------- bills i paid easily before joining. now i cant pay them so my credit and my wifes credit are gonna be fucked. its real easy to buy vehicles and buy a home with trashed credit.
your "standing" with these LPO/LCPO's should net you some results with this, then. You should listen to the other dude in the Army-I'm an E5(E6 real soon) LPO, and I've dealt with this SAME EXACT bullSHIT NUMEROUS times from other E2/E3's. And its never once been anyone's but their own damn fault. You said you had "ZERO" financial issues "BEFORE" you joined.....why dont you read that again several times............................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............................ok, so I guess YOU should've paid attention to what you were making and spending AFTER you joined.

The only part that really " made me sick" about this was mentioning getting out on a medical discharge, that you may or may not deserve. Seems more like you're reaching for whatever excuse you can to get out, and you're using that one as the excuses to do so. Nobody but YOU and your wife spends your money-PERIOD. YOU made the bed....

I dont want to stay in, either-believe me. I'm actually the "anti-recruiter", and do not recommend anyone doing it.
I hate what I do, and what the govt sometimes makes me do-the list goes on. But I (we) signed a contract(did you read yours?) knowing what we would face durring this time. I had some of these same exact problems you're having now, as well. Instead of trying to get out and feeling sorry for myself, I picked my head up, studied hard, and got advanced. I BUILT a house, paid of my wifes car and bills-all on an E4's salary.

Take the advice or leave it, I could give two ***** honestly. But it's your own fault for where your at now-not the recruiter's or the miltary's.

i appreciate the post.
I dont get why youd say you think i migt be using the knee to get out on a medical discharge.
did you happen to read the first post?
im asking for advice on ways to get out.

as far as finances, ill spell it out for you guys who dont get it.
i made good money before joining.
i bought lots of ---- and spent money, i had money to spend i didnt need to worry about
large credit card bills because i made huge payments then bought some more then made more huge payments.

my mistake (besides joining) is in not paying EVERYTHING off before joining. I did not see it was the issue
it would be because i was supposed to be making 1k a month more , which would take care of the financial issue.
no to pay my bills every month i slip further into debt. not because i buy ----, i cant afford to even go out to eat with my wife,
but because i can only afford to make the minmum payments and every month my balances just go up.

it amazes me how hard this seems to be for some of you to comprehend.
and its the few that are in the service.

And about getting out, it sucks, and if i had it to do over again i wouldnt, but that doesnt mean i should get out,
its the finances mainly, if my bills were able to be paid i could at least justify the other facets.
its kinda like the icing on the cake.

if the navy is like the Army, just tell them you are gay, and you will be free, already know 2 people who use that one and it works.

heh.. and I thought people were suppose to borrow lots of money before going in, because interest rates drop to 5% automatically (for debts before joining)

I'm sure the NAVY has some kind of program for Semen's in financial trouble (the Air Force has one, among others, where they give you a loan with zero interest)

Anyway, ya you got misled because they showed you how much YOU COULD be making, but not WHAT YOU WILL be making RIGHT AFTER BOOTCAMP. I know you joined the military not ONLY for the $$, nobody joins for ONE reason only.

Keep your records clean, dont burn bridges.. you may be in the long haul and have to ride it out.

What made me quit the military after 3.5 years is when I realized I'd have to babysit people, work my hardest while the person next to me isnt and we get paid the same, but most of all-- being away from "mi familia".
