make a thread, names Marcus ive been on here for years just never been posting till now. current project is a 86 corolla with sr20 swap. building the car to wheelie past bdvt on the street and beat bikes. heres a couple pics of my ---- now and old cars that HMT helped me turbo.







one reason i love this site is my love for crx's is not questioned here, pics of my first 2, might pick up my 4th soon.

setup was stock d16a6, greddy turbo mani and turbo, flux 3in dp, modified starion intercooler and fmu. the yellow one i bought out of a junkyard, i painted the hood roof and hatch black because it had blue racing stripes and i couldnt live with that. i turbo'd the black one when i was in highschool in 04, it was the most reliable car ive ever had.







and some ****. i hope i dont dissapoint too much.

Cant say I approve of an SR in that chassis. I hate how ppl take ae86's and try to drift them, they make a FAR better drag car.

i can see every pic, might be you. and as far as drifting its fun thats what i did with my other one, but yes this one should make a far better drag car. bdvt grabbed me some 275/40/17 drag radials last week for mockup. i think im gonna put off the backhalf till winter time if i can get it running soon and just let the car sit at basically stock high with huge tires in the back. i have no room to lower it with such a big tire the rearend hits the body

i like corolla's as a road course car myself. the wheel base is a tad bit short for long cool looking power drifts.

i couldnt get anything done without it, i go crazy without some background noise.

i love my garage and my dad for building it. 36x36 and well lit. cable and wireless internet makes my life good along with having a good selection of tools, im lucky my dad is a diy guy and when i suggest tools he usually agrees that he'll want to use it too and looks into them.

I like the Corolla. I don't know about drifting, but it has the looks of a solid street/strip car. How much power you looking to make with the SR?? Nice ****, too. That bitch has some gangster *** tatoos.
